Hank Brussels is a Belgian brand of premium soaps and objects, from everyday care to more expressive pieces, crafted in small batches with a strong focus on form, materials and conscious production.
Conceived by two designers, Hank approaches soapmaking as both a craft and a design practice. Each product is developed as an object of use, where formulation, texture, scent and packaging are considered together, with the same attention one would give to a product or editorial design project.
Soap remains the foundation of the brand. Around it, Hank develops objects for the body and the home, conceived as natural extensions rather than standalone categories.
In parallel, limited editions allow the brand to move into more expressive territory. Free in form, scale or function, these pieces serve as a space for exploration and experimentation, while remaining anchored in the same level of quality, intention and restraint.
Who's Hank?
Hank is run by Charlyne Vangansbeck and Quentin Van Brusselen.
Based in Brussels, we work across design, objects and everyday use. Hank brings together our shared interest in care, materiality and the domestic environment, approached through a designer’s perspective.
The name Hank derives from Henri, an old Germanic name associated with the household and domestic life. A reference to everyday rituals and the objects that quietly shape them.
With backgrounds in graphic design and art direction, we conceive Hank as a design-led brand, where soaps form the foundation and objects for the body and the home extend this approach through form, materials and use.
